Biography:
Dr. Fadi Ibrahim Ahmed, Bachelor of Science, Chemistry, 1998, (very good El-Mansoura University (Egypt), Master's in chemistry, 2007, (GPA 4) (practical works within 9 month) from Kuwait University, Doctorate Degree in Chemistry, 2012, (GPA 3.93) Kuwait University, (Kuwait). Post D Related to novel polymer-based hydrogen storage materials, 2013, Kuwait University. Published more than 20 research articles and chapters in book. Participate in more than 20 conference.
He was the winner of the poster competition at the first Kuwait France Chemistry Meeting in 2009. He received the Master Graduate Research Award in Applied Sciences for his postgraduate research project from Kuwait University for the academic year 2007/2008. He also won the Ph.D. Graduate Research Award in Applied Sciences from Kuwait University for the academic year 2013/2014. In 2015, he received the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) 8th CEO Annual HSE Improvement Performance Award. That same year, he earned the Best Paper Award Certificate from the TJPRC “International Journal of Nanotechnology and Application” for his paper titled “Synthesis of Smectic and Discotic Liquid Crystals Derivatives by Flow Injection System.” In 2016, he won the Energy Globe National Award for his project titled "Polymer for Climate Protection." In 2020, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing from the Annual Research & Review in Biology and has reviewed many published papers. He received the Best Researcher Award at the International Scientist Awards on Engineering Science and Medicine in 2021. In 2022, he was honored with the Best Paper Download Award Certificate from Advances in Nanoparticles journal (ISSN print: 2169-0510, ISSN online: 2169-0529). In 2023, he secured first prize in the Second Scientific Competition for Life Sciences, organized by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences and the College of Life Sciences, under the title “Partners in Development and Education” in the Environmental Technology Sciences category. Most recently, in 2024, he was part of the best team recognized for flexibility, tenacity, and control for underwater robots at the (SeaPerch) West Asia competition.
