Biography:
Dr. Ashu Chaudhary is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow in the Insect Reproduction Laboratory at Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. She completed her Ph.D. from the University of Delhi on the topic “Synthesis of Garcinia mangostana L. Silver Nanoparticles and Assessment of Their Bioefficacy Against Spodoptera litura (Fabricius)”. Her research interests encompass a wide range of interdisciplinary fields, including insect-plant interactions, integrated pest management, insect reproductive behaviour, sterol nutrition and metabolism in insects, environmental biology, limnology, proteomics, and molecular docking. Dr. Chaudhary has published seven original research articles and has presented her work in over ten national and international conferences. She was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at an International Conference and workshop on Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry and UN-SDGs organized by Green Chemistry Network Centre, Hindu college, University of Delhi for her outstanding work on nanoparticles. Her academic training and research span the disciplines of Zoology, Bioinformatics, and Entomology, reflecting a strong foundation in both classical and modern biological sciences.
